Parent Setu: look after your parents from anywhere
Parent Setu is for adult children, siblings and anyone who looks after an elderly parent or a loved one. Maybe you live in another city or another country. Maybe you are at the office all day while your parents are at home. Either way, you can stay close to them from your own phone. You manage everything. Your parent gets a simple screen and never needs an account.
1. SOS, for any emergency
If your parent or loved one feels unwell, uneasy or unsafe, or has any emergency, they press and hold one big SOS button. The app tries to sound an alarm on every family member's phone and to send their location. The alarm keeps going until a family member marks it as handled. Your parent's own phone also sounds an alarm, so people nearby can hear it.
2. Daily greetings
Your parent's home screen greets them by name every morning, afternoon, evening and night, with the latest photo you sent. This is already set up, so you have nothing to do. Your parent feels that their children are thinking of them every day, and feels closer to you.
3. Daily reminders, set once
Breakfast, a walk, lunch, dinner, medicines: you set them up one time, and they appear on your parent's phone every day. Parents often forget what to have or when, and this helps them.
4. Reminders you set from far away
For a doctor visit, a call, a bill, a family function or anything else. The reminder sounds on your parent's phone with your message and keeps following up until they tap Done. You are told if it isn't done.
5. Photos, voice notes and emergency contacts
Share photos and voice notes both ways, and keep neighbours and doctors one tap away.
Brothers and sisters can look after the same parent together. Only the adult children pay. Parents never pay. Parent Setu is a family tool. It does not replace emergency services or medical care, and it cannot promise that every alert, alarm or reminder will arrive.
